The NYCN Osun State Chapter continued its outline meeting with the much anticipated novelty match held today at the Osogbo Grammar School pitch. The match, which kicked off around 11:45 AM, featured a thrilling face off between the State Executive and the Heads of VYOs.
The kickoff was led by the Council Chairman, Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun, alongside his executive team and representatives of the VYOs. The first half ended with the State Executive taking a 1-0 lead thanks to a well-placed goal by the Deputy Chairman, King Alex Oyeniyi.
In the second half, the Heads of VYOs fought back, with Comrade Sulaiman Kazeem scoring an impressive equalizer from a wide range, leveling the match at 1-1. However, the Chairman, Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun, sealed the victory with a brilliant winning goal, securing a 2-1 victory for the State Executive.
The match showcased great sportsmanship and team spirit, further strengthening the unity within the NYCN Osun State Chapter.
