NYCN Osun Chairman Celebrates Chief Lateef Akande Bakare, Ajirowa of Ijesaland, at 70

The Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter, Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun (Omoakin), has joined numerous well-wishers to celebrate Chief Lateef Akande Bakare, the Ajirowa of Ijesaland, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
Describing Chief Bakare as a pillar of character and an embodiment of leadership through service, the NYCN Chairman commended the elder statesman for his enduring impact, humility, and unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of Ijesaland and Osun State at large.

"Chief Bakare is more than a titleholder he is a living example of what it means to lead with integrity, wisdom, and compassion. His contributions to community building, traditional values, and youth mentorship are deeply appreciated by the younger generation. He has not only led well; he has also inspired others to lead with purpose," Akinbode said.

The NYCN Chairman further noted that Chief Bakare has over the decades become a moral compass for many, not just through public service but also through his quiet influence and philanthropic engagements.

"As we celebrate this milestone, we honour a legacy of selfless leadership. At 70, Baba Ajirowa remains strong in spirit and ever committed to the wellbeing of his people. His name is held in high regard among our youth constituency, and rightly so," he added.

On behalf of the entire youth body in Osun State, Akinbode extended prayers and well wishes to Chief Bakare, thanking him for the path he has carved for others to follow.

"We pray that the Almighty grants him continued good health, peace, and fulfilment in the years to come. He is indeed a treasure to Ijesaland, and we are proud to celebrate him today and always," he concluded.
