FORMAL WITHDRAWAL OF SIGNATURES AND AFFIRMATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL LEADER

1. FORMAL WITHDRAWAL OF SIGNATURES

Be it resolved that we, the undersigned members of the State Executive Council (SEC), hereby formally and irrevocably withdraw our signatures and support from the decision purportedly taken on 29th April 2026. 

This withdrawal is necessitated by the discovery that said decision was influenced by unverified allegations, extraneous political interests, and significant misrepresentations presented to the State Executives Council(SEC).

2. BREACH OF DUE PROCESS AND CONSTITUTIONAL PROTOCOL

We wish to bring to the attention of the general public and the Youth Constituency the following procedural irregularities:

Lack of Formal Convening: No official SEC meeting was legally summoned or held in accordance with our constitutional provisions to deliberate on these matters.

*Denial of Fair Hearing:* No formal query was issued, nor was a disciplinary committee established to afford the Chairman the right to a fair hearing, as prescribed by our guiding bye law regarding any alleged misconduct prior to the public announcement. 

Unauthorized Actions: In line with the principles of natural justice, any decision reached without following these fundamental pillars of our constitution is hereby declared null, void, and of no effect.

3. AFFIRMATION OF LEADERSHIP

The general public and the youth of Osun State are hereby urged to disregard any individual parading themselves or acting in the capacity of "Acting Chairman." We firmly reaffirm that Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun remains the only duly recognized and substantive Chairman of the NYCN, Osun State Chapter.

4. COMMITMENT TO UNITY AND WARNING TO EXTERNAL ACTORS

We categorically dissociate ourselves from any self-centered interests aimed at destabilizing the Council. We issue a stern warning to political hijackers and external detractors: The peace and progress of the Osun Youth Constituency are not for sale. We will not allow the Council to be utilized as a tool for political disruption.

5. VOTE OF CONFIDENCE

Accordingly, we hereby pass an absolute Vote of Confidence in Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun . We reaffirm our absolute support for his administration and its mandate to drive the progress and development of the youth in Osun State.
