OSUN YOUTH COUNCIL CELEBRATES HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY, OONI ADEYEYE ENITAN OGUNWUSI, OJAJA II, NATIONAL ROYAL PATRON OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA, ON HIS BIRTHDAY

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter, under the leadership of Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun, joins millions of Nigerians and admirers across the world to celebrate His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, Arole Oodua Worldwide, and National Royal Patron of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement signed by the NYCN Chairman, Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun, the youth body described the Ooni as “a father to the nation, a global icon of peace, and a foremost advocate for youth empowerment and national unity.”

The Council highlighted the Ooni’s unwavering support and fatherly role to the Nigerian youth, noting that his position as National Royal Patron of the Council has brought tremendous inspiration, guidance, and credibility to the youth movement across the country.

“Your Imperial Majesty’s continuous efforts in promoting youth inclusion, entrepreneurship, innovation, and cultural reawakening have transformed countless lives. Your deep passion for the progress of young people and your vision for a united, prosperous Nigeria remain a beacon of hope to the youth of our nation,” the statement read.

The Council further commended the Ooni for his leadership in fostering peace among traditional institutions, advancing dialogue for national harmony, and promoting the preservation of Yoruba heritage as a foundation for social and economic growth.

“As our revered National Royal Patron, we, the youth of Osun and Nigeria at large, are proud to celebrate your life of purpose, wisdom, and divine grace. May the Almighty and our ancestors continue to grant you sound health, peace, and long life to continue your reign of impact,” Comrade Akinbode stated.

The Osun State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria reaffirmed its loyalty to the throne of Oduduwa and pledged its continued collaboration with the Ooni in promoting youth empowerment, leadership development, and sustainable nation-building.
