NYCN Osun Conducts First Batch of Directorate Interviews, Final Batch Scheduled for Friday, April 25th, 2025

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter, under the leadership of its Chairman, Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun, has successfully conducted the first batch of interviews for applicants into the various directorates of the council. The exercise, held on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, is part of efforts to strengthen youth engagement and improve the council’s operational efficiency across the state.

The Chairman commended the 29 applicants who participated in the initial interview session, applauding their enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to serve humanity through the NYCN platform. He emphasized that the Directorate structure forms a vital part of his three-point agenda aimed at uniting Osun youths and giving them a common voice for collective growth.

In his remarks, Comrade Akinbode reiterated that the establishment and activation of directorates will foster inclusion, create platforms for youth participation in governance and social development, and instill a stronger sense of belonging among young people in the state.

The Public Relations Officer, Comrade Hassan Rafiu, in a statement made available to newsmen, noted that the interview process is seamless and transparent. He also announced that the final batch of interviews has been scheduled as follows:

Date: Friday, April 25th, 2025  

Venue: Government Annex, Housing Estate, Okefia, Osogbo  

Time: 10:00 AM Prompt

The Chairman assured all applicants and stakeholders that the selection process will be guided by fairness, transparency, and integrity. The names of successful candidates will be publicly released for the awareness of Osun youths and the general public.

He further appreciated all applicants for their presence and urged those yet to be interviewed to take advantage of the final batch.
