From Osun to the hearts of Africans, your victory has lit up the entire continent, and Osun is beyond proud.
As Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter, I warmly celebrate and congratulate Rasheedat Ajibade, the fearless and iconic captain of the Super Falcons, alongside her exceptional teammates, on their electrifying triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
This is far more than a trophy, it is a resounding statement that Nigerian youth, especially from Osun, are bold, brilliant, and unstoppable when passion meets purpose.
Rasheedat, you are more than a football star, you are now a living symbol of resilience, leadership, and global excellence. Your dazzling skills and unshakable spirit have made every Osun youth lift their heads a little higher. You’ve shown us that we can dream big, defy expectations, and still stay true to who we are, blue hair, bold goals, and all!
The Super Falcons didn’t just conquer Africa, they inspired a generation. And as captain, you’ve lit a fire in the hearts of young girls and boys who now believe in their power to rise.
At NYCN Osun, we see this victory as a spark, a spark to fuel more youth innovation, unity, and ambition. Rasheedat’s journey reminds us that greatness lives in Osun, and now the world knows it too.
Once again, I say a big congratulations to Rasheedat Ajibade, Osun’s golden girl, Africa’s pride, and to the entire Super Falcons squad. Thank you for writing history. Thank you for lifting us all.
