OSUN NYCN LEADERSHIP PAYS RESPECT TO ROYAL PATRON, OBA DR. HAMMED OYELUDE MAKAMA, OLOWU OF KUTA, SEEK BLESSINGS AND SUPPORT.

 National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Osun State Chapter, Com. Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun, led executives members and the newly inaugurated directorates to pay  a distinguished courtesy visit to the Royal Patron of the NYCN Osun State Chapter, Oba Dr. Hammed Adekunle Oyelude Makama Tegbosun III, OLUWU OF KUTA KINGDOM. This auspicious visit marks a significant milestone in the continued collaboration between the youth movement and traditional institutions in the region.

The primary purpose of this visit was to formally introduce the newly inaugurated executives, who have now been in office for four months, to the revered Royal Patron. The delegation, composed of key members of the NYCN Osun leadership, expressed their deep respect and gratitude to the royal authority as they sought to strengthen bonds and further the mission of youth empowerment in the community.

In addition to the introduction of the executive team, the visit provided a platform to present the newly inaugurated directorates to the Royal Patron. Out of a total of 15 directorates structured within the organization, five have been officially introduced during this engagement, embodying the drive toward a more structured and responsive organization.

As a token of respect and a symbol of the organization’s commitment to excellence, a special honor was presented to Oba Dr. Hammed Adekunle Oyelude Makama Tegbosun III by the newly inaugurated executives. This gesture underscored the deep appreciation that the NYCN Osun State Chapter holds for the guidance and support provided by its traditional leaders.

Furthermore, the visit served as an official invitation extended to the Royal Patron to grace the upcoming International Youth Day celebrations scheduled for August 2025. During the meeting, detailed plans and the agenda for the event were clearly presented, emphasizing the critical role of the Royal Patron's blessings and support in making the event a resounding success.

The delegation highlighted that the International Youth Day celebration is not only an occasion to honor the achievements of the youth but also an opportunity to foster a stronger partnership with traditional institutions. The comprehensive agenda included initiatives aimed at empowering youth, promoting inclusive engagement, and showcasing innovative projects that contribute to sustainable development.

Moreover, the interaction between the NYCN Osun leadership and the Royal Patron , Oluwu of Kuta Kingdom reaffirmed the collective vision of nurturing a culture of unity, progress, and mutual support. The visit has paved the way for closer collaboration, with both parties committed to leveraging their strengths for the broader benefit of the youth , the community and the State  at large.

The  courtesy visit to the Royal Patron was a defining moment for the NYCN Osun State Chapter. With the introduction of new executives and directorates, the official invitation for International Youth Day, and the heartfelt presentation of honor, the meeting has set a promising tone for future initiatives. The NYCN remains steadfast in its commitment to impacting positive change and fostering enduring partnerships that will empower Nigeria’s youth towards a brighter future.
