The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter, under the leadership of the State Chairman, Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun , joined the Muslim faithful in celebrating the 2025 Eid-ul-Adha festival.
This year’s celebration was notably special as the Council observed the festivities in the hometown of the Hon. Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood, in Iresi, Boluwaduro Local Government Area of Osun State.
Hon. Olagunju warmly welcomed the NYCN delegation and the youth community with genuine hospitality and fatherly affection. The Commissioner observed the Eid prayer at the town's central prayer ground around 10:00 a.m., joined by members of the community and representatives of NYCN. The Chief Imam of Iresi in his sermon preaches unity, love and peace among Muslims Umah in the town, state and the Nation at large.
The Osun NYCN chapter expresses its sincere appreciation for the Commissioner’s consistent support, commitment to youth development, and his gracious hospitality during the celebration. His openness and continued encouragement remain a great source of motivation for the youth of Osun State.
As we mark this sacred festival, we extend our best wishes to all Muslim youths and the entire Osun State community. May this season of sacrifice bring peace, progress, and unity.
