Osun Youth Under the Apex Body of National Youth Council of Nigeria Osun State Chapter Congratulates Newly Elected Local Government Chairmen and Councillors in Osun State

The Osun Youth under The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Osun State Chapter, under the dynamic leadership of Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Segun, extends its heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected Chairmen across the 30 Local Government Areas and all Councillors in the 332 wards of Osun State.  

In a statement issued by Comrade Akinbode, he commended the electorate for their active participation in the democratic process and urged the newly elected officials to uphold the trust reposed in them by the people. He emphasized the importance of diligent service and alignment with the developmental roadmap of the State Governor, His Excellency Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, to ensure the continued progress and prosperity of Osun State.  

Comrade Akinbode charged the newly elected leaders to prioritize the fulfillment of their campaign promises as outlined in their respective manifestos. He reminded them of their responsibility to serve as ambassadors of Osun State, fostering unity, development, and good governance at the grassroots level.  

This is a call to service, and the people of Osun State expect nothing less than your unwavering commitment to their welfare and the development of our communities, Comrade Akinbode stated. We urge you to work tirelessly to deliver on your promises and to collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve the shared vision of a prosperous Osun State.

The National Youth Council of Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the newly elected officials in their efforts to drive youth empowerment, community development, and sustainable growth across the state. The council also called on the youth of Osun State to remain actively engaged in governance and to hold their leaders accountable.  

As the newly elected Chairmen and Councillors assume office, the NYCN remains optimistic that their tenure will usher in a new era of progress, inclusivity, and transformative leadership for the people of Osun State.
