The Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter, Comrade Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwaseun, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Michael Odunayo Ajayi, Arowotawaya II, Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa and Royal Patron of NYCN Osun State, on his elevation from Permanent Member to Vice Chairman of the Osun State Council of Obas.
In a congratulatory message, Comrade Akinbode described the elevation as a well-deserved recognition of the monarch’s exemplary leadership, wisdom, experience and commitment to the growth and development of the traditional institution in Osun State.
He noted that Oba Dr. Michael Odunayo Ajayi has continued to distinguish himself as a respected traditional ruler, father to the people and a strong voice for peace, unity, development and good governance.
According to the NYCN Chairman, the elevation is not only a personal achievement for the Elerinmo but also a reflection of the confidence placed in his leadership and ability to contribute meaningfully to the affairs of the Osun State Council of Obas.
Comrade Akinbode said the youth constituency greatly values traditional institutions and royal fathers who provide wisdom, guidance and stability to society, adding that the Elerinmo’s new position would further strengthen the partnership between the traditional institution and the youth in building a peaceful and prosperous Osun State.
He expressed confidence that the monarch would bring his wealth of experience, wisdom and fatherly disposition to the new responsibility while continuing to uphold the dignity and values of the traditional institution.

The NYCN Chairman further prayed that Almighty God would continue to grant the Elerinmo wisdom, sound health, strength and long life to serve his people and contribute even more to the development of Osun State.
He reaffirmed the commitment of NYCN Osun State to strengthening its relationship with the traditional institution and working with royal fathers towards youth development, peace, unity and sustainable progress.
Comrade Akinbode wished the Elerinmo a successful tenure as Vice Chairman of the Osun State Council of Obas and prayed that his reign would continue to bring honour and development to Erinmo-Ijesa, Osun State and Nigeria.
