IFON-ILOBU CRISIS: OSUN YOUTH HAIL GOVERNOR ADEMOLA ADELEKE FOR SWIFT INTERVENTION, APPRECIATES SECURITY AGENCIES

⚪️Call on stakeholders to support Gov Ademola to restore perfect peace to the community.

Following the swift intervention of the Executive governor of osun state, HE Ademola Adeleke, The Youth of Osun State under the apex body of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter, led by its Chairman, Comrade Akinbode Segun Olakolupo, has commend His Excellency for his swift and decisive intervention in resolving the recent crisis in the Ifon-Ilobu community.  

In the statement issued this evening through the Public relations officer, Comrade Hassan Rafiu, the Apex youth body recognizes the Governor’s commitment to peace and stability in Osun State, particularly his proactive measures to de-escalate tensions and restore normalcy in the affected communities. The timely intervention of the state government, in collaboration with security agencies, has prevented further loss of lives and property, and this has not gone unnoticed by the youth and the people of Osun State.  

They further extend their heartfelt appreciation to the security agencies for their professionalism and swift response in managing the crisis. Their dedication to maintaining law and order during this challenging period is highly commendable and reflects their commitment to the safety and well-being of all citizens.  

While we celebrate the progress made so far, we call on all stakeholders, including traditional leaders, community elders, and political actors, to rally behind Governor Ademola Adeleke’s efforts to ensure lasting peace in the Ifon-Ilobu community. We urge all parties to embrace dialogue and eschew violence, as peace is a prerequisite for development and prosperity.

The Osun State Youth, under the leadership of Comrade Akinbode Segun Olakolupo, reaffirm our unwavering support for Governor Adeleke’s administration and its commitment to fostering unity, peace, and progress across Osun State. We believe that with collective efforts, the state will overcome all challenges and emerge stronger.  

We call on all youths in Osun State to remain law-abiding, promote peace, and actively participate in the state’s development agenda. Together, we can build a brighter future for our beloved state.
